1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, Denicotinizer may process your name, email address, password hash, account and trial status, plan settings, wake and sleep times, nicotine-type and reduction-plan information, logged actions such as taken/skipped/rescue events, reminder-delivery records, push-subscription data, device/browser technical data, and subscription identifiers/status received from Paddle.

2. Payment information

Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Denicotinizer does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. We may receive billing-related identifiers and subscription status needed to provide paid access.

3. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, generate and operate reduction plans, send requested reminders, display progress and analytics, administer trials and subscriptions, provide customer support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Service providers

We use specialist providers to operate the service. These may include Cloudflare for hosting, storage and delivery, Resend for transactional email, and Paddle for billing and subscription administration. These providers process information according to their own contractual and privacy obligations.

5. Cookies and local storage

Denicotinizer may use cookies, browser storage and similar technologies needed for login sessions, PWA behavior, preferences and security. We do not require advertising cookies to provide the core service.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including providing the service, maintaining account and billing records, resolving disputes, security and legal compliance. Some records may need to be retained after account closure where required by law or legitimate record-keeping needs.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, or request portability. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. Requests can be sent to hello@denicotinizer.com.

8. International processing

Our service providers may process information in multiple countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect account data, including password hashing, authenticated access and restricted administrative functions. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Denicotinizer is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.
