Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using Denicotinizer and its subscription service.
1. About Denicotinizer
Denicotinizer is a digital behavior-planning and reminder service designed to help adults structure a gradual reduction in nicotine use. It is not a medical device, diagnosis service, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical care.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your password, and for activity under your account.
3. Trial and subscriptions
Eligible users may receive a 14-day free trial. The trial begins on the first successful login after account activation. Paid access is offered as a recurring monthly or annual subscription at the price shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Taxes, supported payment methods, invoices, renewals and billing details are shown by Paddle during checkout and in its customer portal.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation normally prevents future renewals; access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated by Paddle at the time of cancellation.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected components, use automated abuse against the service, or use Denicotinizer for unlawful purposes.
6. Health and safety
Denicotinizer provides planning, reminders, logging and educational information. It does not determine whether reducing nicotine is medically appropriate for you. If you are pregnant, have a health condition, take medication, experience severe withdrawal symptoms, or have concerns about nicotine use, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may be updated, improved, restricted or discontinued. We may suspend access where necessary for security, misuse, legal compliance, or non-payment.
8. Intellectual property
Denicotinizer, its software, branding, design, written content and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your personal data and your own entered information remain subject to the Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Denicotinizer is provided without guarantees of a particular health outcome or successful cessation result. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
